The Positives of Failure

Jimmy Wales’s opening talk on Skype addressed the importance of failure. Jimmy recommends “Fail faster. Real entrepreneurs fail and fail and fail, before they succeed. Enjoy yourself along the way.”

Wales’s talk echoes the advice of Richard Saul Wurman, the creator of TED Conferences. In his groundbreaking book Information Anxiety, Wurman writes about his years of “failure” before he finally launched TED and wrote a best-selling book.
